Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide for a contract - full time position in Landover, MD. Working under the supervision of the special education department, you will assist students requiring instructional and behavioral support and help with mobility and therapeutic care needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR may be required, and compliance with health and safety standards. The pay is $20 per hour with 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist students requiring instructional and behavioral support under supervision of the special education department, teacher or supervising designee.
• Support students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by a health professional.
