Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing in Palmdale, CA seeks a School Aide to support students requiring instructional and behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education team. This is a contract position, part-time, paying $20 per hour for 20 hours per week.

The role may include assisting with personal mobility and therapeutic care needs as prescribed by health professionals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance.
• Supports students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by health professionals.
