Toy Joy in Austin, part of Wild About Music, is seeking a Sales Supervisor to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will help open/close, guide staff, and ensure merchandising standards in a playful, accessible environment.

Ideal candidates have retail or food service sales experience, passion for toys and collectibles, and a cheerful, team-focused approach that keeps guests feeling welcome and inspired.

Qualifications

• Retail or food service sales experience is required.
• Must have keyholding/supervisory experience.

• Opens and closes the store in accordance with standards set by the company.


• Handles conflict in the moment when appropriate and brings it directly to management.


• Provide excellent customer service to all that walk in, greeting each person individually to make them feel welcome.


• Maintain safety standards and health codes and keep walkways clear.

Requirements

Sales experience in a retail or food service environment.

Keyholding/Supervisory experience

Love and knowledge of toys, books, games, collectibles and candy.

Artistic skills, merchandising and creativity.

Possess a cheery and positive disposition.

Work and communicate well with all staff.

Uphold respect for yourself, fellow co-workers and customers.

Be able to lift and maneuver fixtures and product as necessary and spend majority of 8 hour shift on your feet.
