Toy Joy, part of the Wild About Music retail family in Austin, TX, is seeking a Sales Supervisor. The role starts pay at $16/hour with advancement opportunities based on tenure.

Responsibilities include supervising store operations, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a welcoming, safe shopping environment. Ideal candidates have retail or food service sales experience, supervisory capabilities, and a love for toys, books, games, and collectibles.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in a retail or food service environment.
• Keyholding/Supervisory experience.
• Love and knowledge of toys, books, games, collectibles and candy.
• Artistic skills, merchandising and creativity.
• Possess a cheery and positive disposition.
• Work and communicate well with all staff.
• Uphold respect for yourself, fellow co-workers and customers.

• Delegates tasks clearly and respectfully to co-workers.
• Maintains the vibe and flow of the store in the absence of management.
• Opens and closes the store in accordance with standards set by the company.
• Handles conflict in the moment when appropriate and brings it directly to management.
• Provide excellent customer service to all that walk in, greeting each person individually to make them feel welcome.
• Maintain safety standards and health codes and keep walkways clear.

Requirements

Be able to lift and maneuver fixtures and product as necessary and spend majority of 8 hour shift on your feet.
