Coma Coffee Roasters in Missouri is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join our kitchen leadership. You will work under the Chef Owner and Senior Management, helping to develop and implement a rotating menu and ensure smooth line operation.

This full-time role requires 40–45 hours per week, a mix of day and night shifts, and accountability for all culinary and staffing issues on your shift, with direct reporting to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Sous Chef will be under the direct supervision of the Chef Owner and Senior Management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the rotating menu.
• Full time, requiring a scheduled minimum of 40 hours per week but not exceed 45 hours per week without prior discussion.
• Require a combination of day and night shifts which will involve opening and locking up the restaurant.
• Must have an overarching knowledge of all menu items, prep tasks and a clear understanding for each station on the line.
• Direct accountability for all culinary and staffing issues that arise on their assigned shift and report to Senior Management.
• Hold all staff under their direct supervision accountable for any and all issues.
