Job summary

Encore Village is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time day and overnight shifts (3-11pm and 11pm-7am) to provide direct resident care in a long-term care setting. The RN will assess residents, monitor changes, administer medications, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.

The role requires active Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification, with a preference for one year of long-term care experience. The facility emphasizes patient-centered care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR card.
• Graduate of accredited Registered Nursing program.
• One-year experience of long-term care nursing, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform resident assessment using direct physical assessment and review of records.
• Monitor conditions and notify physicians and families of changes.
• Administer medications following facility policy and document in EMR.
• Provide treatments and document in EMR.
• Triage emergencies and coordinate with nursing leadership.
• Collaborate with physicians for visits and progress notes.
• Supervise CNAs and ensure adherence to care plans.
