Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Lincoln Village Healthcare Center in Lincoln, IL. The RN provides direct resident care, supervises LPNs and CNAs, and ensures care aligns with policies, orders, and regulatory requirements.

The position offers $50.00 per hour, 12-hour shifts (6-6), and non-exempt status. You will perform assessments, med administration, documentation, staff supervision, and uphold safety/HIPAA practices to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree).
• Prior experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment, clinical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Resident Care: assess residents’ health status, develop/update care plans, administer meds per orders, monitor changes and notify physicians/families as needed, provide skilled nursing procedures (wound care, catheter care, IV therapy, tube feedings).
• Assessment & Documentation: complete nursing assessments, document meds/treatments, participate in MDS and regulatory assessments, maintain records for compliance.
• Leadership & Supervision: supervise and evaluate LPNs and CNAs, conduct shift handoffs, train staff, promote teamwork and a positive environment.
• Safety & Compliance: follow infection control and HIPAA guidelines, respond to emergencies, maintain a safe environment and comply with regulations.
