Job summary

Southern Health Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse Medical Team Administrator (RN MTA) for the Waushara County Jail in Wisconsin. The position offers a stable daytime schedule from 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with no nights and no weekends.

The RN MTA will coordinate clinical activities while remaining engaged in patient care and nursing duties. This role emphasizes organizational oversight, collaboration with correctional officers and healthcare staff, and adherence to SHP

Qualifications

• Active RN license and clinical nursing experience.
• Ability to coordinate daily healthcare team activities.
• Experience in correctional healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong documentation and compliance with SHP policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide and oversee nursing care for patients in the correctional healthcare setting.
• Perform nursing assessments, treatments, medication administration, and other clinical duties.
• Coordinate the daily activities of the healthcare team.
• Serve as a clinical resource for nursing and healthcare staff.
• Collaborate with correctional officers, healthcare providers, and facility leadership.
• Help ensure patient care is delivered according to SHP policies and applicable standards.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support continuity of care.
• Assist with the organization and day-to-day operations of the medical department.
• Work independently while serving as a dependable clinical resource for the team.
