Job summary

Southern Health Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse Medical Team Administrator (RN MTA) for Waushara County Jail in Wisconsin. The role offers a daytime Mon-Fri schedule from 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM with no nights or weekends, allowing predictable life outside of work.

In this role you will oversee nursing care, coordinate the healthcare team, maintain documentation, and serve as a clinical resource while ensuring care aligns with SHP policies.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Experience coordinating healthcare teams in a clinical setting.
• Ability to work independently and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide and oversee nursing care for patients in the correctional healthcare setting.
• Perform nursing assessments, treatments, medication administration, and other clinical duties.
• Coordinate the daily activities of the healthcare team.
• Serve as a clinical resource for nursing and healthcare staff.
• Collaborate with correctional officers, healthcare providers, and facility leadership.
• Help ensure patient care is delivered according to SHP policies and applicable standards.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support continuity of care.
• Assist with the organization and day-to-day operations of the medical department.
• Work independently while serving as a dependable clinical resource for the team.
