C.A. Fortune is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Specialist to service Hy-Vee, based in Sioux City, IA. You will sell products, build relationships with store management, and drive distribution while reporting results in our systems.

This role requires independent work, strong communication, and the ability to travel within the territory. Hybrid schedule with local travel, weekend-free workdays, and a base salary of $46,000–$50,000 depending on experience are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be local to Sioux City, IA or nearby.

Responsibilities

• Represent a diverse portfolio of national and regional brands, calling on Hy-Vee.
• Serve as the primary liaison between store leadership and manufacturer partners to maximize shelf space, promotional execution, and distribution.
• Pitch new products and secure incremental placement while meeting sales objectives.
• Travel between store locations within the designated territory.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to attendance and dress code.
• Perform physical activities including standing, walking, bending, lifting.
• Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager.

Overview of the Role

• C.A. Fortune is looking for a full-time Retail Sales Specialist to service Hy-Vee.
• You will be responsible for selling, building relationships with store management, gaining/maintaining distribution within a variety of accounts as well as reporting tasks in a reporting system, with varied merchandising opportunities
• This is a position where you work independently, follow direction, and have excellent communication skills.
• Reliable transportation, clean driving records, valid driver’s license, and maintaining auto insurance are all required
• Location Hybrid will observe a hybrid schedule half day on Friday- must be local to Sioux City, IA, Sioux Falls, SD and surrounding areas
• Salary: $46,000 - $50,000 depending on years of experience and expertise
• This position is full time 37.5 hours per week
• No Weekends. Work is to be completed between Monday and Friday.

What You’ll Do at C.A. Fortune

• Represent a diverse portfolio of national and regional brands, calling on Hy-Vee
• Function as the primary liaison between store leadership and manufacturer partners to maximize shelf space, promotional execution, and distribution – directly contributing to sales growth
• Pitch new products, secure incremental placement, adapt to quickly shifting business needs while consistently delivering sales objectives in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Utilize mobile technology to take photos, report findings, and complete tasks accurately and efficiently
• Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
• Must maintain a safe working environment while working in the stores
• Must adhere to attendance and dress code guidelines
• Must be able to perform physical activities, i.e., frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting, etc. throughout the workday
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.

• Local to the Minneapolis, MN area
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance areall required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent isrequired
