We seek a Grocery Merchandiser to manage territory, perform store visits, audits, and reporting using mobile apps, with lifting up to 50 pounds and a flexible schedule. You will build product distribution, stock shelves, and ensure accurate in-store representation while working independently and communicating with store teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Proof of automobile insurance.
• Reliable phone and internet service for daily communication.
• Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory and complete tasks.
• Strong communication skills; follow directions independently.
• Retail, sales or merchandising experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
• Retail work will entail ordering products and stocking shelves from new orders.
• Conduct audits in area grocery stores.
• Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
• Verify that our clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves.
• Maintain a safe working environment while in stores.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
• Stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with minimal supervision.
• Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.

Overview of the Role

• The Grocery Merchandiser will properly manage their assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks. They will have the ability to take pictures and complete reporting requirements with the technology provided. This position will require merchandising, and the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Location: South Austin, TX (within a 40-60 mile radius)
• This position is full time, 30 - 40 / hours a week
• Compensation: $19 hourly, based on experience, qualifications, and skills
• You will be responsible for selling, merchandising, gaining/maintaining distribution within a variety of accounts.
• Ensure our clients' products are well stocked and order if product is not in stock or low.
• This position requires consistent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.
• This position requires you to switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams throughout the day
• You must be able to lift, bend/stoop for extended periods of time.
• This is a position where you work independently, follow directions, and have excellent communication skills.

What You’ll Do at C.A. Fortune
