The role goes beyond cashier duties — you’ll maintain a welcoming space, learn current promotions, and contribute to meeting sales goals while supporting teammates and Macy's brand standards.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
• Meeting daily sales goal challenges
• Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information
• Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities
• You can work on your own but are great with team dynamics
• You can handle electronic devices with no problem

Responsibilities

• Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, stay up to date on promotions.
• On the floor, focus on the customer—offer a warm welcome, make eye contact, and create personal conversations to build relationships.
• Recover the floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves.
• Finish strong by sharing Loyalty program benefits and thanking customers.
• Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration to serve customers and communities.
• Strive to improve every day and achieve store results.
