FirstCash in Austin, Texas is seeking a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate who greets customers, assists with sales and loan inquiries, explains terms, and ensures a smooth, customer‑focused experience while keeping the sales floor tidy.

You’ll earn $14.00–$18.00 per hour with unlimited commission, have a predictable schedule, and access benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and a 401(k) auto‑enrollment after six months, plus earned wage access and employee discounts from day one.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided).
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus.
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth, customer‑focused experience.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
