Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring a Store Associate to merchandise, stock, cashier, and keep the store clean. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to enhance the customer shopping experience and deliver exceptional service.

The role offers full-time hours with an average of 30+ per week and a starting wage of $18.50 per hour, with scheduled increases in Year 2–5. Full benefits are available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service.
• Operate store equipment including cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, handheld devices, and computers.
• Interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Work independently and with others to complete tasks.
• Maintain reliable attendance and meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer service and escalate concerns to store management as needed.
• Operate POS system to scan purchases and report scanning issues to management.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Follow merchandising plans to stock shelves and display products neatly.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assist management in improving operational efficiency and reducing losses.
• Identify hazards and help maintain a safe working environment.
