Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a store associate to help merchandise and stock, operate the cashier, and keep the store clean and inviting. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure smooth store operations.

The role is full-time with a starting wage of $20.00 per hour and typical hours over 30 per week. Wage increases occur each year, reflecting experience and tenure. Benefits include health, retirement and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to scan and process purchases.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes as required to ensure an efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly per merchandising planograms.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assists store management in achieving efficiency and loss goals.
• Complies with company policies and maintains a safe work environment.
