Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring for a Store Associate to support merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning duties. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role is full-time with an average of 30+ hours per week and a starting wage of $19.00 per hour. Wage increases are scheduled in Years 2–5, and ALDI offers a competitive benefits package including retirement plans and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service is required.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, and handheld devices.
• Ability to follow ALDI policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers as needed.
• Operate POS system to process purchases and manage scanning issues.
• Stock shelves and merchandising per planograms.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and deliver to customers' vehicles from the staging area.
• Follow cash handling policies and maintain loss prevention.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Assist management in achieving efficiency and loss goals.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper equipment operation and report hazards.
• Meet availability requirements.
