ALDI in Alexandria, VA is seeking a store associate to assist with merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store looking its best. You will work with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and a smooth shopping experience.

This full-time position averages 30+ hours per week with a starting wage of $20.50 per hour and scheduled wage increases over five years. Candidates should be 18+, with a high school diploma preferred and retail experience helpful.

Qualificações

• Provides prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment and POS systems.
• Basic arithmetic and cash-handling accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or with others.

Responsabilidades

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to scan and process customer purchases.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and on time.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Supports management in achieving operational efficiency and loss goals.
• Identifies and rectifies hazards to maintain a safe environment.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to company standards.
