Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Store Associate in North Carolina. You will merchandise, stock, cashier, and maintain store cleanliness to create an exceptional shopping experience.

This full-time role offers 30+ hours per week and a starting wage of $18.50 per hour, with scheduled wage increases through Year 5. Responsibilities include assisting customers, operating POS, maintaining inventories, and supporting store management to achieve efficiency and loss-reduction goals.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service is required.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers and POS systems.
• Ability to follow ALDI policies and procedures.
• Good communication, both verbal and written, and basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team to maximize productivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and address concerns.
• Monitor and report loss due to damaged or outdated products.
• Accurately scan and process purchases using POS; report scanning issues.
• Follow cash handling policies and procedures.
• Open additional check lanes to maintain efficient checkout.
• Stock shelves according to planograms to maximize sales.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain cleanliness and merchandising standards.
• Assist management in achieving operational goals and safety standards.
