Job summary

SERVPRO of Columbus is hiring full-time restoration technicians to respond to fire and water damage at residential and commercial properties. You will perform water extraction, light demolition, cleaning, inventorying, and operate drying equipment.

A valid driver's license, dependable attitude, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs are required. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package and provide on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Professional appearance, friendly, cooperative, and great attitude.
• A valid driver license with a reasonable driving record.
• Dependability.
• Experience in fire restoration, water restoration, and/or IICRC certifications are a plus but not required.
• Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Responding to residential and commercial properties affected by water damage or fire damage.
• Water extraction, light demolition, use of hand tools and power tools.
• Structural cleaning of properties.
• Inventorying and packing personal property.
• Develop knowledge of drying techniques and equipment operation.
• Follow safety practices at facility and job-site.
• Follow directions of on-site supervisor and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Aid in maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service.
