Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health in Worcester, MA is hiring a full-time Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support residents in a residential treatment setting. The role provides around-the-clock supervision and helps maintain a therapeutic milieu.

Schedule options include Thursday–Monday 7am–3:30pm, Wednesday–Sunday 7am–3:30pm, or Sunday–Thursday 3pm–11:30pm; pay is $17 per hour. The BHT will work as part of a multidisciplinary team under clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in addiction or mental health fields.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information.
• Knowledge of MS Office and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of clients and maintain a therapeutic milieu.
• Transport and accompany clients as needed.
• Document client behaviors and attendances and maintain records.
• Perform medication observations and assist nursing staff.
• Assist with non-clinical group sessions within scope of practice.
