The role involves leading group activities, providing one-on-one visits, coordinating outings, and collaborating with families and the care team to enrich daily life while maintaining safety and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in activities, recreation, customer service, healthcare, senior living, or related fields preferred.
• Compassionate, energetic, and resident-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Creative, organized, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing daily activity programs.
• Lead group activities such as games, crafts, exercise classes, music programs, and social events.
• Encourage resident participation and engagement in activities.
• Provide one-on-one visits to residents who are unable or unwilling to attend group activities.
• Assist with community outings and special events as needed.
• Transport residents to and from activities when necessary.
• Maintain activity calendars, attendance records, and documentation as assigned.
• Ensure activities are conducted in a safe, respectful, and inclusive manner.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident quality of life.
