Job summary

You will plan and direct all aspects of the program, supervise staff and volunteers, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the care team to support resident goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities programming in skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred.
• Activities Director certification or eligibility preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to create engaging programs for diverse resident populations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive activities program tailored to resident interests and needs.
• Create and maintain a monthly calendar of group and individual activities.
• Lead and supervise activities staff and volunteers.
• Conduct resident assessments and contribute to care planning.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to activities programming.
• Promote resident participation and engagement in daily activities.
• Coordinate special events, outings, and community involvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care goals.
