Silverado Encinitas is seeking a Full Time Resident Engagement Assistant (AM) to bring joy and purpose to residents through engaging activities and memory enrichment programs.

You will support the Director of Resident Engagement, plan daily activities, and help coordinate music and therapy sessions in a compassionate, team-oriented environment. This role emphasizes dignity, inclusion, and living well with dementia.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent required.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with clean record.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Experience with memory care or older adults preferred.
• Able to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Organize and facilitate memory enrichment activities for small groups.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate their achievements.
• Prepare materials and conduct research for recreational programs.

Anticipated pay range

$20 - $22 USD
