Job summary

Silverado Berkeley is seeking a Full Time Resident Engagement Assistant (PM) to bring joy, engagement, and purpose to residents’ daily lives. You’ll support activity planning, lead memory enrichment sessions, and assist music and therapy activities in a compassionate, team-focused environment.

You must be reliable, empathetic, and a strong communicator in English. Schedule is Thursday–Monday, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM, with pay range $20–$24/hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Experience with memory care or older adults preferred.
• Ability to walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist the Director of Resident Engagement in planning and leading daily activity programs

Qualifications:

• Effective communicator in verbal and written English


• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards


• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required


• Comfortable working around animals and pets


• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia


• Previous experience with older adults or memory care preferred


• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
