Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner for residents in our skilled nursing facility
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan menus and ensure nutritional requirements are met
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and guests
• Maintain accurate inventory and ordering of supplies and ingredients
• Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including entrees, sides, and desserts
• Set up and break down the kitchen, ensuring a clean and organized environment
• Maintain a safe and efficient food handling and storage system
• Monitor and control food costs and inventory
• Participate in menu planning and culinary activities as needed
