Job summary

Hearthside Senior Living Bartlett in Bartlett, TN seeks Full-Time Resident Assistants to provide direct resident care across all shifts. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, dining support, and urgent response to calls, under supervision of licensed personnel.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, senior living, or service environment preferred.
• CNA certification preferred; PCA may be accepted; CNA certification may be required in some states.
• Must have and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Must meet applicable state certification and licensure requirements.
• General understanding of and concern for the needs of seniors.
• Experience or aptitude working with Alzheimer’s/dementia preferred.
• Able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age; state-specific guidelines may apply.
• Background screening, health screening, and drug-free workplace requirements.
• Reliable transportation and, where required, a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Prepare residents for meals, snacks, and activities, and support in dining, including serving meals and clearing tables.
• Respond promptly to resident emergency call systems and requests for assistance.
• Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ condition to the supervisor or designee.
• Communicate with residents, family members, team members, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain required resident care documentation per state regulations and Allegro Living policies.
• Assist with resident transportation when required.
• Follow safety, sanitation, infection control, residents’ rights, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements.
• Assist with light cleaning, laundry, resident rooms, offices, and common areas as needed.
• Attend meetings and in-service training sessions as required; comply with state guidelines.
• Support community standards by maintaining professional appearance and delivering courteous service.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
