Job summary

Century Park Associates in Tennessee is hiring part-time Resident Assistant/Care Aide day and night shifts. You will provide quality assisted living support, help with daily activities, meals, and mobility, and report changes to the nursing team.

A compassionate approach and ability to work with residents under supervision are essential. Preferred CNA/HHA credentials and CPR training; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience in senior services preferred.
• CNA certification or Home Health Aide certification preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during Orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living per care plan.
• Reads 24 hour log at start of shift.
• Makes rounds and checks resident care needs.
• Assists with clothing choices and weather-appropriate attire.
• Keeps residents clean and dry; assists incontinent residents.
• Assists with ambulation and use of mobility aids.
• Assists during meals and dining area supervision.
• Encourages participation in activities.
• Shampoos hair weekly if needed.
• Makes beds and light housekeeping in apartments and common areas.
• Prepares residents for activities, meals, appointments.
• Delivers meals and assists with setup or feeding as needed.
• Verifies resident attendance at meals and follows up as required.
• Reports changes in resident condition to Nurse/Director.
• Welcomes new residents and assists with move-in adjustments.
• Complies with infection control guidelines.
