Job summary

Athena Health Care Systems is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant for Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Webster, MA. This full-time role offers 35 hours per week at $16 per hour with weekly pay, supporting an ongoing recreation program to enhance residents’ physical, mental, and social well-being.

You will help plan, organize, and direct activities, learn resident interests, and collaborate with the therapeutic team to set care goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• We can train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and run events and activities programming.
• Build relationships with residents and tailor programming to their interests.
• Organize group and individual programming.
• Generate ideas to excite residents and encourage participation.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities that support physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being.
• Assist with resident care goals within the therapeutic team framework.
• Document and report unusual or significant findings.
• Report all reportable events immediately.
