Job summary

Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Webster, MA is seeking full-time Activities Assistants to join a compassionate recreation team. You will help plan, organize, and direct a continued program of activities designed to meet residents’ interests and well-being. Weekly pay at $16/hour, 35 hours a week, 8a-4p shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• We can train the right candidate!
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Help coordinate and run events and activities programming.
• Build relationships with residents and learn about their interests to tailor programming to their desires.
• Organize group and individual programming.
• Generate ideas that will excite and encourage residents to participate in programming.
• Encourage residents to take part in activities that will stimulate his/her potential, physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually.
• Assist with and follow through on the establishment of resident care goals within the framework of the entire therapeutic team.
• Document and report any unusual or significant findings.
• Report all reportable events immediately.
