Iowa Home Consulting, based in Central Iowa, seeks skilled laborers for full-time, hourly work in carpentry and finish work. You’ll complete tasks such as carpentry, demolition, drywall, flooring, painting, installation, and finish work according to your experience, while maintaining safety on the jobsite.

What you’ll do

What you need coming in

• Reliable hands-on work experience, trade training, or strong construction aptitude preferred but not required.
• The ability to complete assigned tasks carefully and use tools safely at your current skill level.
• Honest awareness of what you can do independently and where you need direction.
• Clear communication, dependability, and willingness to learn.

You do not need to be ready to manage a remodel or lead a crew. We do expect you to take ownership of the quality of the work assigned to you. This is a full-time, hourly role. Growth in pay and responsibility is tied to demonstrated skill and the work you can perform independently.
