Job summary

Iowa Home Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced remodeler to lead field execution on residential projects. This hands-on role requires producing skilled work, guiding team members, communicating with homeowners, and keeping projects moving.

The Remodeling Coordinator will handle scheduling and logistics, while the Remodeling Project Manager takes ownership of day-to-day field work and serves as the homeowner’s main contact on site.

Qualifications

Iowa Home Consulting | Central Iowa

We’re looking for an experienced remodeler who can lead the field execution of assigned residential projects. This is a hands‑on role for someone who can produce skilled work, guide other team members, communicate with homeowners, and keep a project moving.

Our Remodeling Coordinator prepares the scheduling and logistics. Once a project is active, the Remodeling Project Manager then takes ownership of day-to-day work at the jobsite and serves as the homeowner’s primary field contact.

What you’ll do

• Review the scope, plans, materials, and schedule before work begins.
• Perform skilled remodeling work while sequencing tasks and guiding technicians.
• Communicate progress, questions, and upcoming work to the homeowner.
• Identify unforeseen conditions, material needs, and potential changes before work proceeds outside the approved scope.
• Coordinate field needs with the Remodeling Coordinator.
• Own jobsite protection, quality checks, documentation, punch‑list work, and professional closeout.

What you need coming in

• Strong hands‑on residential remodeling experience across multiple trades.
• The ability to plan and lead active project work, including task sequence and team direction.
• Sound judgment when conditions differ from the plan.
• Experience communicating directly with homeowners during a project.
• The ability to distinguish between field decisions you can make and changes that require approval.
• Dependable attendance and a valid driver’s license.

This role requires demonstrated project ownership at hire. Strong technical skill alone does not automatically mean someone is ready to lead projects or manage client expectations.

Compensation and benefits
