Job summary

Eye Associates of New Mexico in Albuquerque is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team. You will circulate/scrub for ophthalmic and oculoplastic procedures and assist anesthesia, contributing to patient safety and procedural efficiency.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or major holidays, paid training and certification support, including ACLS/BLS renewals, and a supportive team focused on patient care.

Qualifications

• Current NM RN license required.
• Experience in operating room or outpatient surgery preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (training provided).
• Knowledge of AORN standards and surgical asepsis.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to prioritize in high-volume settings.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub during ophthalmic and oculoplastic procedures.
• Support anesthesia induction, emergence, and airway management.
• Monitor for clinical changes and initiate emergency response when needed.
• Ensure sterile technique, instrument use, and room turnover.
• Accurately document care and administer medications per protocols.
