Job summary

Eye-Associates-of-New-Mexico is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our Ambulatory Surgery Center in Albuquerque, NM. You will deliver direct patient care in pre- and post-operative phases, supporting safety, education, and favorable surgical outcomes within a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes patient-focused care in a fast-paced setting, with opportunities to grow clinical skills. Monday–Friday schedule, with PTO, and access to training and certification support including ACLS/BLS

Qualifications

• Current NM RN license required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in PACU or surgical holding preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Critical care background preferred for PACU RNs.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-op nursing care using the full nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Confirm surgical site, review documentation, and verify patient preparedness.
• Administer medications, manage airways, and respond to emergent situations.
• Document accurately in EMR and communicate with interdisciplinary teams.
