Job summary

Eye Associates Of New Mexico, Ltd. in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a Regular Full-Time Registered Nurse for our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). You will provide direct patient care in pre- and post-operative phases, supporting patient safety and outcomes in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

The role offers ACLS/BLS certifications, 3+ years PACU/surgical holding experience, and opportunities for professional growth within a leading ophthalmology practice in the Southwest.

Qualifications

• Current NM RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in PACU or surgical holding preferred.
• Critical care background preferred for PACU RNs.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-op nursing care using the full nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Confirm surgical site, review documentation, and verify patient preparedness.
• Administer medications, manage airways, and respond to emergent situations.
• Document accurately in EMR and communicate with interdisciplinary teams.
