Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking an All-Star Dietitian to join the Clinical Nutrition team at Arthur M. Blank Hospital. The role involves floating to inpatient units including ICUs and General Pediatrics, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus to start.

The dietitian will participate on interdisciplinary teams to provide nutritional services and education aligned with the center’s mission and values. Bachelor-level nutrition education and active licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Pediatric nutrition experience in inpatient or outpatient settings preferred.
• Must obtain RD and/or LD credential within 3 months of hire if not already held.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Determines nutritional assessment using age- and developmentally appropriate standards.
• Recommends appropriate medical nutritional therapy for assigned patients and evaluates response.
• Instructs patient and family related to nutritional therapy which incorporates age-appropriate developmental standards.
• Advises groups related to pediatric nutritional therapy and community nutrition as required.
• Implements departmental standards for documenting all aspects of work-related activities.
• Participates as member of interdisciplinary team.
• Directs and evaluates dietetic interns/students.
• Maintains professional development responsibilities.
• Performs other responsibilities as required, including but not limited to departmental committee participation and annual competencies.

Job Description

Experience

Certification Summary

• Current Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
