Job summary

Marshall Yards Racing & Gaming in Calvert City, Kentucky, is hiring a Receiving Attendant (FT) to coordinate shipments, mail, and deliveries. The role reports to the Security Supervisor and uses JD Edwards to track orders and verify backorders while ensuring accurate receipt of goods and proper routing.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, prior receiving/shipping experience, and the ability to obtain a Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Qualifications

• Preferred high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience as a receiving and/or shipping clerk is preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments in the JD Edwards system and notify department heads of shortages.
• Inspect quantities received against Purchase Orders and report shortages/overages.
• Forward packing lists and receiving tickets to relevant departments.
• Determine economical shipping methods and apply proper labeling.
• Pack items as required and maintain a mail/shipment log.
• Coordinate damage claims and drive to pick up urgent items when needed.
