Job summary

Responsibilities

• Open, inspect, and verify shipments against Purchase Orders.
• Notify departments of shortages or backorders and coordinate reorders.
• Forward packing lists and receiving tickets to relevant teams.
• Determine economical shipping methods and label items correctly.
• Pack items as needed and maintain a shipment log.
• Coordinate damage claims with shippers and document issues.
• Route items to departments and operate a pallet jack as needed.
• Drive company vehicle to obtain emergency items when required.
• Distribute daily mail and assist with mail pickups and deliveries.
