Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and document results for licensed practitioner.
• Position patient to best demonstrate area of interest.
• Apply radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
• Operate imaging equipment for radiographic procedures.
• Prepare and document pre/post procedure steps.
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopy and radiography.
• Perform required timeouts and aseptic technique as needed.
• Identify and administer medications/contrast as prescribed.
