Job summary

Bon Secours is hiring a Radiology Technologist at Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville, VA. This full-time role covers day and evening shifts, performing diagnostic imaging under licensed supervision while ensuring patient safety and quality care.

The ideal candidate has ARRT registration, BLS, and a background in radiologic procedures, with EPIC/EHR and PACS experience preferred. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Associates from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred)
• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
• BLS Basic Life Support (required at hire for certain locations)
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred)
• Experience with Radiology Information System (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient's history and lab work.
• Positions and immobilizes patient for imaging.
• Applies radiation protection to minimize exposure.
• Operates imaging equipment to perform procedures.
• Verifies informed consent and completes pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assists licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and radiography procedures.
