Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to support our therapy program. The PTA will implement treatment plans, screen patients, and collaborate with center staff to promote physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being under supervision and in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Screens, and makes recommendations based on observations of assigned patients as needed.
• Implements established physical therapy treatment plans to meet each patient's needs.
• Collaborates/communicates effectively with other center team members to ensure optimal patient care and progress.
• Completes documentation/billing timely, and accurately. Ensures MD orders are obtained according to company policy and procedures.
• Willingly accepts the supervision of Physical Therapy Assistant students as requested according to state, federal, and Physical Therapy Practice Act guidelines.
