Job summary

Canyons Springs Post Acute in California is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a full-time basis. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to help residents regain mobility and independence.

The position offers a pay rate of $50-$52 per hour and a competitive benefits package. California PTA licensure is required, along with strong communication and teamwork within an interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA licensure in California.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
• Document timely, accurate, and compliant records.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment.
• Assist the nursing department with Restorative Aides training.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans to physicians and staff.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home programs.
• Recommend durable medical equipment as needed.
