Job summary

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Autumn Lake at Chevy Chase in Chevy Chase, MD. The PTA will support skilled nursing residents with mobility, daily activities, and therapeutic exercises under supervision.

Qualifications

Must hold an active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant license.
Ability to follow individualized care plans with safety focus.
Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
Skilled nursing or post-acute experience helpful; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

Deliver prescribed physical therapy interventions within the resident's plan of care.
Guide exercises to build strength, balance, and endurance for daily activities.
Assist with walking, bed mobility, and transfers per residents' abilities and precautions.
Reinforce safe movement techniques and use of mobility equipment.
Observe responses and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
Complete timely treatment records and collaborate with nursing and rehab colleagues.
