Job summary

Spring River is seeking a Full-Time and PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Roswell, New Mexico. If you’re passionate about patient-centered care and enjoy working in a collaborative, supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you!

New graduates are welcome. The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care.

Qualifications

• SNF or LTAC experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as Net Health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength and function.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising therapist.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers on therapy programs.
• Accurately document treatments and patient responses.

Position Overview

The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care. This role focuses on helping residents improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist

• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function

• Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising therapist

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy programs

• Accurately document treatments and patient responses in compliance with regulations

Qualifications

• SNF or long-term care experience preferred

• Knowledge of current therapy practices

• Experience with Net Health or similar EMR systems preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Licensure Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of New Mexico

• License must be active and in good standing
