Meadow Lakes is a Springpoint Senior Living community in East Windsor, NJ, seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. You will provide physical therapy treatments and procedures under supervision of a licensed PT.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited therapy program, 1-2 years of PT Aide/Assistant experience, and a current NJ PTA license. Comprehensive benefits are offered, including PTO, 401(k), and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
• 1-2 years working as a PT Assistant or related experience.
• Current NJ PTA State License.

Responsibilities

• Administers traction to relieve neck and back pain.
• Instructs, motivates, and assists patients to learn and improve functional activities.
• Observes patients during treatments and reports findings to the physical therapist.
• Fits patients for, adjusts, and trains patients in use of braces, prostheses, and supportive devices.
• Confers with PT staff and health team members to plan and coordinate treatment programs.
• Performs clerical duties and basic office tasks.
• Measures range of motion, body part size, and vital signs to assess treatment effects.

Education

Graduate of an accredited therapy program

Current NJ PTA State License
