Job summary

Creo Chocolate, Inc. is seeking a Full-time Production Assistant to join our Portland factory team. This hands-on role will help craft chocolate and related products, with a 40-hour week and a four-day schedule (Mon–Thu). Reliable transportation to the facility is required and growth opportunities abound.

The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, a strong team player, and eager to learn. No prior chocolate making experience is necessary, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have Multnomah County Food Handlers permit (or ability to obtain quickly).
• Physical ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Gmail and Google Suite.
• Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety protocols.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Desire to work four days a week, for ten hours a day (Mon–Thu).

Responsibilities

• Assist chocolatiers in craft chocolate production and related products.
• Package chocolate bars and products with attention to quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in production areas.
• Document processes clearly to ensure consistency and quality.
• Support factory tours and educational experiences as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Handle general maintenance and cleaning tasks as required.

Creo Chocolate is looking for a Full-time Production Assistant (40 hours/week) to join our chocolatier team at our Portland factory. This hands-on role will assist in creating craft chocolate and related products. Reliable transportation/ability to walk to work is a must. This position offers significant opportunities for growth as you develop your skills in craft chocolate production. This position does not require chocolate making experience.
