Jerry's Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Production Employee (team lead) at Minnesota Meat Masters in Annandale, MN.

You will operate and set up equipment, package sausage products, and support warehousing and quality checks in a fast-paced plant environment. The role offers a competitive hourly pay range of $21.85–$28.30 plus a lead premium of $1.50 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, PTO, and 401K.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of production environment experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to understand written or spoken English.
• Ability to work with pork.

Responsibilities

• Machine set-up and operation.
• Package sausage products using high tech equipment.
• Warehousing (preparing finished product and documents for shipment).
• Plant sanitation, equipment wash down.
• Quality check products for defects (irregular sausages, sausages with defects).
• Record production information on proper forms.
• Perform quality checks (i.e., date & label checks).
• Rotate through various positions on the production line.
• Follow production guidelines of food safety.
• Work on a team in a fast-paced production environment and exhibit a sense of urgency while maintaining excellent productivity goals and quality product.
• Assist the facility manager in keeping processes moving, following food safety plans and meeting customer quality requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Majority of the work is performed in the processing rooms with temperatures ranging from 42°F to 55°F. Incumbent may stand and walk for long periods of time on cement – up to 95% of the shift. Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment over the course of a normal workday – up to 15% of the shift. Stooping, bending, twisting, lifting and reaching may be required in completion of the job duties – lifting as heavy as 50 lbs repeatedly.

ENVIRONMENTAL: Majority of the work is performed in the processing rooms with temperatures ranging from 42°F to 55°F.

FREQUENT: 15% of the work shift or at least ten repetitions per work shift.

OCCASIONAL: Approximately less than 15% of the work shift or fewer than 10 repetitions per work shift.

FREQUENT: Physical Lifting , Standing, Bending, Grabbing and Rotating Mental Counting, Adding, Subtracting, Writing, Reviewing Files, Computer Work

OCCASIONAL: Physical Climbing Stairs and Kneeling Position functions and physical requirements may vary by location.
