Jerry’s Foods Hudson is seeking a Meat and Seafood Manager to lead the department, prepare and present meat and seafood products, and ensure shelves are stocked and attractive. You will schedule staff, train team members, and help drive shrink control while maintaining a high standard of food safety and customer service.

The role requires experience in meat products, knowledge of seasonings and recipes, and a commitment to growth within Jerry’s Enterprises.

Qualificações

• Experience in meat department (2–3 years preferred).
• Knowledge of meats, seafood, seasonings, and recipes.
• Attended Food Safety training.
• Willing to grow career at Jerry’s.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare meat and seafood products including beef, fish, poultry and pork.
• Fill and rotate cases and displays (may require heavy lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Assist with merchandising and receiving products to keep shelves full.
• Create and manage weekly work schedules for the entire team.
• Train and develop future Meat and Seafood Managers.
• Wrap, cut and tray a variety of products and help manage shrink.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary store.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• FREQUENT: 15% of the work shift or at least ten repetitions per work shift.

• FREQUENT: Physical Lifting/carrying to 95 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 2200 force lbs. walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting repetitive motion: turning, bending equipment operation: meat saw, meat grinder, bone scraper, cuber, patty machine, meat mixer, tenderizer, knives, slicer, scales, bulker, wrapping machine, compactor, box cutter, pallet jack, flatbed, forklift Mental judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, math, basic computer skills
• OCCASIONAL: Physical kneeling, crawling
