Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Private Aide / In-Home Caregiver in Muskegon, MI. You will support seniors at home with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship, helping them stay in the home they love with dignity.

The role emphasizes hands-on, compassionate care, with opportunities for back-to-back shifts and a supportive team from a nationally recognized home care provider.

Qualifications

• 6 months of caregiving experience OR completion of a CNA course/certificate.
• Experience with hoyers, sit-to-stand transfers, bed-bound care, and hospice patients.
• Two positive references.
• Availability for full-time hours and back-to-back short shifts (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Provide personal care and support to help seniors live safely at home.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Provide medication reminders, document condition and notify supervisor of concerns.
