Job summary

The Malvern School is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Preschool classroom at The Malvern School of Voorhees. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities include assisting with a high-quality Early Childhood Education program, keeping the classroom safe and educational, and maintaining ongoing communication with parents via in-person meetings and digital tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2500 hours documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.

• Assist in implementing a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents, in person and through technology.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose general duties will be as follows.

• Teacher assists in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

What we need from you:

• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility
