Job summary

Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 seeks a Teacher Assistant for the Early Intervention Preschool program. The role supports instruction, helps implement lesson plans, and fosters a positive classroom environment to promote student success.

The position requires a high school diploma, First Aid/CPR, and PA DoE competency within a year; preschool experience is preferred. Full-time, 7 hours/day, 190 days/year with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Experience with preschool-aged children with special needs preferred.
• Comfort with active, hands-on support and transitions.
• Must obtain LIU crisis management certificate.
• Must meet PA DoE competency within 1 year from hire.
• Annual 20 hours professional development required.
• Experience in educational settings preferred.
